Short version: the plugin keeps your code on your server, and this website doesn't track you.
The Airworthy plugin
This plugin reads your plugin and theme files on your own server; it never runs them and never sends them anywhere.
To show whether a plugin is still maintained, it looks up each plugin's slug (its folder name) in the public WordPress.org plugin directory (api.wordpress.org). Nothing else is sent: not your site's address (the requests use their own "Airworthy" user agent instead of WordPress's default, which includes your site URL), not your plugin list, not your PHP version. Answers are cached for 24 hours.
Airworthy sets no cookies, adds nothing to your site's front end, and has no tracking, account or sign-up.
Scan results are stored in your own WordPress database, visible only to administrators, and removed when you delete the plugin. We (DigitalKind) never receive them.
This website
- No cookies and no tracking scripts. There are no forms to fill in.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Email. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you, and we don't share them.
